Candice is one of the best, if not the best trainer we have had. I have learned so many new concepts and skills in all of her trainings compared to those I have had in the past. She comes at the work from a genuinely BIPOC, counter-cultural lens. I've seen a lot of trainers who, despite identifying with the communities we serve, still teach a very white-washed version of social work practice. I have never seen someone teach from Candice's lens and feel like I am a better practitioner because of it.
